Samantha Gamez ~ Professional Dog Trainer

 

I was born and raised in a small town outside Charlotte, NC. I have always had a passion for animals, even from a young age; growing up, we always had an assortment of animals. We had cats, dogs, turtles, fish, tadpoles, hamsters, and a spotted salamander or two. I have been training and caring for dogs since 2008.  I started Training/socializing puppies for Southeastern Guide Dogs when I was about 15 years old. I finished raising two successfully fully trained guide dogs before I graduated high school. From there, I proceeded to go to a dog training school to learn more about training dogs.  After I graduated from my classes, the school hired me to work with their Autism Assistant Dog program, and I was there for a few years until I decided to move back to Charlotte to be closer to my family.  I then started working for another dog training company focusing primarily on clients' personal dogs and behavior modification. I am a proud parent, too, with five dogs, two cats, and a bearded dragon! Needless to say, I am a huge animal lover!
